教学目标：
1.能够听懂、会说、认读单词：monkey、bird、tiger、panda、elephant、zoo
2.能在具体情境中运用句型：What’s that? It’s a ...询问并回答动物的名称。
3.Can act like some animals.学生能模仿动物的形体动作，并且能根据指令做动作。
4.激发学生热爱动物和保护动物的情感意识。
教学重点：
1.能够听懂、会说、认读单词monkey、bird、tiger、panda、elephant、zoo。
2.能运用本课句型：What's that? It's a tiger ...询问并回答动物的名称。
教学难点：
1.正确区别What’s this ?和 What’s that ?的用法。
2.正确区分“a”和“an”的用法。
教学准备：多媒体课件、动物卡片
教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
(1)播放歌曲“Old MacDonald”，学生跟着轻唱。
(2)Preview（以旧引新，导入新课）
复习A部分的单词pig，bear，cat，duck，dog。There are some new animals.Do you want to know more animals? Zoom and Zip see many animals. Today,Zoom and Zip will take us to the zoo.What animals can they see? Let’s go and have a look.
Step 2:Presentation (以电教为手段，呈现新单词)
1.Teacher：What animals do Zoom and Zip see? Yes, they see a bird, a panda, a tiger, an elephant and a monkey.Where are the animals? Yes, they are in the zoo.Read after me, zoo.教授单词zoo.
2.Listen to the sound and guess the animals.
课件播放老虎的叫声，让学生听，引导学生根据声音猜测回答,然后领读单词，教授tiger及句型What’s that?
Boys and girls,what’s that? T: Yes, it’s a tiger.Follow me,tiger, tiger,It’s a tiger.
T:Can you act like a tiger?请学生做动作(模仿温柔的老虎、凶猛的老虎）
3.课件播放鸟的叫声，让学生听，引导学生根据声音猜测回答。课件呈现bird,指着课件上的bird询问：Boys and girls,What’s that?
T: Yes, it’s a bird. 领读单词bird, bird.It’s a bird.然后课件播放录音，让学生跟读。利用自然拼读法教授bird.
T:Can you act like a bird?请学生做动作
课件出示若干远近动物图片,让学生通过直观区分：What’s this? 和What’s that?
先请学生说说What’s this? 和What’s that?的不同。然后课件总结知识点。
that与this区别：this用来指近处的人或物。that用来指远处的人或物。询问近处人/事物用What’s this? 这是什么？询问远处人/事物用 What’s that? 那是什么？
4.教授单词panda
猜谜语：It’s black and white .It’s fat.It has big eyes.What is it? Yes,it’s a panda.让学生做动作读：Act like a panda.
5.教授elephant.
课件出示大象的图片。Wow!It’s so big! It has a long nose.What is it?引导学生说出大象。根据elephant的音节，把elephant标成三不同的颜色，领读单词。
It’s an elephant.an, an, an elephant. It's an elephant.
运用an apple,an eraser来学习an elephant.(此处要重点练读an) Act like an elephant.
6.T: What’s this? 引导学生根据图片猜测回答：It’s monkey.
课件呈现 monkey,拿出错误的动物单词卡询问学生：Is it a monkey?更换正确的单词卡询问：Is it a monkey?利用自然拼读法教授monkey,然后领读monkey,It's a monkey. 然后让学生自己读、升降调读，做动作读：Act like a monkey.
7.教师指不同的图片，用What’s that?提问，学生根据教师指的图片进行回答：It’s a/an…
Step 3:Practice(以游戏为方式，突破难点)
1.出示动物图片，学生快速说出单词。
Teacher：Look at the picture. What’s that? Pleas say it as quickly as you can.
2.游戏“What’s missing?”
课件出示本课所学单词，然后播放自定义动画突然消失一个单词，教师问：“What´s missing?”让学生抢答，给表现优秀的学生颁发小礼品奖励。
3.Let’s do
让学生静静地听录音，仔细观察动画，理解语句；然后观看课件并模仿做动作,引导学生对指令作出正确反应。让学生全身心参与到活动中来，培养学生各种机能的协调发展。
Step 4 ：Summary.(总结评价，拓展知识)
师生一起总结本课所学内容，并且进行情感教育。
T: Today, we are glad to see the animals. Now, let’s call their names loudly.
This is bird. This is monkey. This is panda. This is tiger. This is elephant.(展示所有学习过的动物的图片，学生答出其名称。）
T: Look at these animals.They are so lovely. Do you like them ? There are many animals in the world. Some of them are less and less. Please love animals and protect them. Because they are our good friends. (借此渗透爱护动物的情感教育。)
Step 5：Homework
1.把今天学的单词写一写，并画出你喜欢的动物。
2.Act like the animals to your parents.
